What Is The Difference Between The Blow Molding Process And The Injection Molding Process Of The Pallet Mould?

The difference between the blow molding process and the injection molding process of the Pallet Mould:

1. The process is different, blow molding refers to injection molding + bottle blowing; injection molding refers to injection + pressure; rotational molding refers to extrusion + pressure; blow molding must have the head left by the exhaust pipe, injection molding must have a gate part, Rotomolding must be cut without shaving.

2. Generally speaking, injection molding is solid, and blow molding and rotational molding are hollow.

The surface of injection-molded parts is bright, while the surface of blow-molded parts and rotational-molded parts is uneven. In contrast to rotomolding, blow molding has a blow port. This is a general comparison. I don't know if you can understand it! ! !

3. Plastic shrinkage and its influencing factors

Thermoplastics are characterized by expanding when heated and shrinking when cooled, and of course, shrinking when pressurized. In the injection molding process, molten plastic is first injected into the mold cavity. After the filling is complete, the molten material cools and solidifies, shrinking when the injection molded part is removed from the tray mold. This shrinkage is called forming shrinkage. When injection molded parts are taken out of the tray mold and stabilized for a period of time, there will still be slight dimensional changes. One variation is to continue the contraction, which is called an after-contraction. Another variation is that some hygroscopic plastics swell due to moisture absorption.

Due to different production processes and different production equipment, even if the molded pallets of the two processes have the same specifications and the same load capacity, the price of the molded pallets, the suitability of the turnover work, and the service life of the molded pallets are also different.
